THE AUTHOR

Joan is an elementary school teacher living with her children on the shore of the N. Atlantic. As a child Joan grew up on the family farm where she learned to raise cattle, make maple syrup and collect fresh eggs. After studying literature at university she adventured around the world with her backpack, stopping to hike, or kayak wherever she could.

Now she tells the story of a young mouse taking action, who learns to believe in himself and his dreams as he grows into a charming young character.

Joan is a creative poetry writer and likes to contribute to the local newspapers. This is Joan’s first book series.
